How it works
Step 1: No obligation Inspection
Once you set the time and date. We will arrive at your home and look for storm related evidence documenting everything. looking at gutters, screens, garage doors, a/c units finding any possible signs of hail from the ground once on the roof looking for hail damage and wind damage is first then we look for potential leak points , granular loos or points of concern. Even if no storm damage is found you will be given a full report on your property. If damage is found we will be moving to step 2
Step 3: Adjuster meeting
Once the adjuster is assigned they will reach out to you in a couple of days and schedule a time . A lot of times your carrier will issue a 3rd party inspector completely normal. Once your adjuster reaches out to you text or call us to let us know the time and date. We arrive 10 to 20 min before the assigned time. Once the adjuster is there . we introduce our self and shadow them through there inspection not hindering, impeding or asserting dominance we are simple there to walk the property and make sure our findings are documented and not overlooked. if it is a third party there findings will be reported to the carrier and the carrier will get back with you withn a week to let you know approval or denial ( we will get to this a little more in step 4) if it is an adjuster from your carrier they can tell you that day and sometimes issue payment within the hour
Step 5: Adjuster report & New roof Choice
Congratulations your carrier has payed the bulk majority of your new roofing system and potentially paying for additional accessories around your home . this is where we will go over the details and look into the manufacture, materials ,color options and possible upgrades
Step 7: Depreciation & supplement relase
After your new roofing system has been installed we will send over a contract of completion, invoice and, all the pictures from start to finish to your carrier. They will review and release the remaining funds allotted( depreciation & supplements) from the work that was preformed.
Step 2: File a claim
If the storm damage meets the requirements of your insurance carrier(listed below) We recommend you file a claim. You and us will be calling the claims department directly not your local desk adjuster. After we get off of hold the conversation takes maybe 10min they will ask you some questions and us a couple. the claim will be filed, and an adjuster will be assigned to your case. (the requirements)for most carriers on the roof 10 hail hits in a 10'x10, area on all slopes of the roof ridge and hip damage and hits on the soft metals. if we find what's called collateral from the ground, screens, gutters, garage doors, and a/c unit even hail splatter on fences or decks serve as further evidence of hail occurring on your property.
Step 4: Approved or denied
If approved, Congratulations you are on step 5! If denied there is a couple of directions we will go . First you may ask why would they deny it if there is enough damage. That's a great question and there is a lot of factors. I can assure you, I do not purse a claim unless I See there is enough damage and will follow through to the very end to get you what is entitled to you. So the next step is RE-inspection. We will send an email with our evidence and a detailed quote Known as xactimate. From here they will reschedual another inspector and we will go over the property one more time . if still a denial we will move to appraisal . we can go more in depth on this if we ever have to
Step6: Install Day
Once your New roofing system has been picked and a clear understanding of the adjusters report has been laid out we will schedule your new roof install . Our crews can do 40sq tear off and install per day so some roofs may take 2 to 3 days but generally they are 1 day installs . the crews show up before sunrise and begin taking the old system off it will be messy and it will be loud . We do pride ourselves on being preemptive with laying down tarps for easy clean up and placing plywood where necessary ex. a/c units to prevent un needed and unwanted damages . once the roofing system is installed we will go over your lawn and drive way multiple times with a magnetic bar to ensure as many if not all nails and metal has been removed
Step 8: Refer a Freind
